Gusto is the professional outlet for couple Giovanna and Jonathan who both met while working as chefs in Cambridge. Giovanna grew up in a mountain village in Sicily and learnt how to forage and cook from her Nonna. She then trained in professional kitchens around Sicily, including Marco Baglieri’s lauded restaurant Crocifisso in Noto.
Jonathan is local and has worked in kitchens since the age of 17, starting at the bottom and working his way up to become Head Chef.
With a love of hand crafted pasta and local ingredients, Giovanna and Jonathan blend traditional Italian with modern British under the joint name Gusto.
