Italian for Teens

A little master class covering the wonders that are hand made Italian pasta and Risotto.

As in Italy, we make our pasta in the morning while its cool, ready to enjoy for lunch or as a starter for supper.

We make perfect pasta dough and how to create little firm Orecchiette as well as sleek Tagliatelle and two classic accompaniments  – Broccoli with garlic and chilli; and fresh tomato & basil sauce.

Whilst it is possible to go through life without knowing how to make a perfect Risotto – rather than a stodgy lump of rice – how much better to master this wonderful, dish with aplomb! This version is a light summer Risotto using lemon, soft thyme and fresh peas.

We will also make little Anisette biscuits to take home.

Parents can enjoy our terrace for brunch or lunch. 

We are found at the very end of Purbeck Road (off Hills Rd by the sixth form centre) where you turn left by Abbey college and then carry straight on for about 60m to the white awnings you will see ahead.

Please note that there is very limited parking on site. We recommend the multi storey at the Leisure Centre less than 10min walk away or the Babraham Park & Ride which stops on Hills Road, very close to Purbeck Rd.
