Wine and fresh Truffle Evening - exclusively Piemonte

Wine should be sampled with food – food which has been chosen to enhance the wine!

Having just returned from our annual Truffle Trip to Le Marche (see our culinary trips program) we have some amazing truffles to share with you.

In line with our sustainable and ethical ethos, this tasting brings exquisite wines from small producers whose wines are not for sale on the high street but offered directly via our Italian partners Vine&Cork.

Our tastings match six exquisite plates of food from our kitchen with 6 wines and have so far generated what can only be described as ecstatic responses from our guests. Our kitchen is largely inspired by northern Italian cooking so this event is going to be particularly wonderful.

Piemonte wines, and in particular those made from the Nebbiolo grape, rank among the best in the world. The high quality wines for this tasting gives us an opportunity to cook some of our all time favourite Italian dishes. As we have just come back from our annual Truffle trip to Italy we will cook with fresh white truffles directly from the hills of northern Italy.

We are found off Hills Road, at the end of Purbeck Rd, turning left in front of Abbey college.

We regret that we have very limited parking on site. Then these events are not really compatible with driving…
