About the course:
WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is the perfect Beginners course in Wine providing a hands on introduction to the world of wine. Over six hours in the classroom, You will learn about how grapes grow and wine is made, the main types and styles of wine and the principal grape varieties grown around the world and how to serve and store wine correctly.
You will learn how to taste wine and write simple wine tasting notes using the WSET systematic approach to wine tasting and learn the principles of food and wine pairing.
At the end of the course there is a 30 question multiple choice exam and if successful which most students are you will receive an internationally recognised, government accredited wine qualification.
