Don’t like sweet wines? Do the very words “sherry” and “Madeira” conjure up images of dusty bottles dug out from the back of a pantry, sweet wine poured in to thimble sized glasses? If so, this tasting is for you!
Sherry and Madeira are both fortified wines. Most styles of sherry are bone dry, outstanding food wines. Madeira comes with soaring acidity levels, again, making the various styles excellent accompaniments to food.
We are calling the connoisseurs and the clueless alike for an evening of outstanding wine and tapas style dishes.
Bring friends, come as a pair or alone and join in the fun!
A guided wine tasting and food pairing with Tine Roche makes up the informative and explorative part of the evening. This will be followed by a very light hearted food and wine quiz to suit nerds & novices alike! This is not a dinner event but the bites we serve are plentiful.
We aim for you to have as much fun – if not more – answering the questions you don’t know as those you do. Plenty of wine will be left on the tables to enjoy during the quiz.
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE DIETARY REQUESTS FOR THESE EVENTS.
