Eat Cambridge Festival Wine Tasting - Adriatic Italy

The Adriatic coast of Italy is generally much less well known than the the Mediterranean side with its well known wines from Tuscany and Piedmonte.

From the Veneto at the head of the Adriatic, via Le Marche down to to Puglia in the heel of Italy, the wines produced on the east coast of Italy generally benefit from cooling winds and age old varieties largely unknown outside each region, let alone the rest of Italy and beyond.

It’s a region we know well here, due to our long standing Culinary Tours to Le Marche and its neighbouring counties.

This tasting will include wines from Veneto, Le Marche and Abruzzo and we will offer little sharing platters of food from our chefs to go with it.
