We are thrilled to welcome back Master Chef finalist Giovanna Ryan to the Cookery School for after the run-away success of her visit in September.
Giovanna has taken inspiration for the recipes for this hands on Italian class from family recipes and mixed it with her own contemporary style of Italian cooking, which took her to the final round of this year’s Master Chef competition.
Like all our classes, this is a hands on class, under Giovanna’s supervision, and culminates in a lunch with wine and more exclusive time with Giovanna.
Giovanna will share her personal story of how her Italian heritage led her to enrol in Master Chef and how it took her to the final round, what it is like for an amateur cook to work in high end professional kitchens and what it has meant for her to be a Master Chef finalist.
She will then guide you through the following seasonal recipes:
Jerusalem artichoke soup with Jerusalem artichoke crisps
Pumpkin Ravioli with sage beurre noisette
Fennel panna cotta with black currant ice cream and candied almonds
Please note that we have very limited parking on site and Saturdays are our busiest day.
