May half term fun: Italian pasta and pizza for Teens

A little master class covering the wonders that are hand made Italian pasta and Risotto.

We make perfect pasta dough and how to create little ridged Garganelli pasta tubes as well as sleek Tagliatelle with two classic accompaniments  – Broccoli with garlic and chilli; and fresh tomato & basil sauce.

We also make dough for Pizza, bread sticks and Focaccia. Some of the tomato sauce made will go on the pizzas. Focaccia and bread sticks will come back home with the teens after the class.

We are found at the very end of Purbeck Road (off Hills Rd by the sixth form centre) where you turn left by Abbey college and then carry straight on for about 60m to the white awnings you will see ahead.

The teens won’t need to bring anything but we ask that arms, legs and feet are covered, long hair tied up and dangly jewellery left at home. We also ask teens not to use/touch their mobile phones while cooking – for reasons of hygiene.
