Fancy Sunday lunch at a classic French bistro?
This class is a return to what we on the team here, being classically trained, think of as “real” food.
More animal protein and more dairy than the dishes which have been leading the way for the past decade.
Don’t get us wrong – we love our plant based food and it inspires most of the food we cook and eat at home. But there is a time and a place for everything, and as advocates for real cooking, using prime ingredients, we relish more robust dishes.
This class includes:
Chicken liver mousse
Cod with egg sauce
Coq au Vin with creamy mash
Steak frites – seared Bavette, house fries and Béarnaise sauce, fine green beans
Crème Caramel
Poached pears, red wine glaze and crème Anglaise aka custard
We are found at the very end of Purbeck Road (off Hills Rd by the sixth form centre) where you turn left by Abbey college and then carry straight on for about 60m to the white awnings you will see ahead.
CANCELLATIONS: 72h prior to class to move to a future date and 7 days for a full refund
