Ready to learn more about the influence of terroir on great wine as well as which grape is found where?

Chablis, Sancerre, Mersault, Chardonnay – all describe wine made from one  grape variety.

Which wines are named after their main grape variety and and why?

Which wines are named after their geographical location and what difference it makes?

Ready to  feel a little smug when next reading a wine list?

All wine events include hand made bread and a little bit of cheese and charcuteries.

 

How to find us

The Cookery School, café & wine bar is located at the end of Purbeck Road which comes off Hills Road by the sixth form college.

As you near the end of Purbeck Road, turn left in front of Abbey college into Homerton Gardens.

We have parking for 4-5 cars and whilst spittoons will be made available this is probably a leave-your-car-at-home-event.
