This is the real thing!

Lilian is a true virtuoso. Trained by the legendary Raffles Hotel in Singapore, Lilian’s knife skills, presentation technique and flavouring and encyclopaedic knowledge of the cuisines of the Far East is simply awe inspiring.

In this Master Class, Lilian will teach us how to make

Vietnamese Crispy Fried spring rolls

Delicious parcels filled with minced pork, glass noodles and carrots, deep fried and enrobed with lettuce.

Pork on Lemon Grass skewers with French Baguette

Showing the French influence on Vietnamese cooking, these skewers contain marinated pork, grilled on its lemon grass skewers and served in a crips Baguette with mint, coriander, chilli and lime juice.

Nuoc Cham Sauce

A bold and refreshing sauce demonstrating the holy grail of sweet, sour, salty and spicy.

Vietnamese Summer Rolls with Prawns

A soft rice paper roll with glass noodles, mint, coriander, carrots, bean sprouts and prawns served with Hoisin Peanut sauce.

Thai Green Chicken Curry

A truly authentic and aromatic curry with sweetness from palm sugar, green chillies, coriander, Thai basil, lime leaves, chicken, bamboo tips and straw mushrooms.

We are found at the very end of Purbeck Road (off Hills Rd by the sixth form centre) where you turn left by Abbey college and then carry straight on for about 60m to the white awnings you will see ahead.

Please note that there is very limited parking on site. We recommend the multi storey at the Leisure Centre less than 10min walk away or the Babraham Park & Ride which stops on Hills Road, very close to Purbeck Rd.
