When you make a reservation for the Café, Wine Bar or bistro by email, phone or in person, Cambridge Cookery collects information such as

When you make a booking for a cookery class, course or event via our website, Cambridge Cookery collects information such as

  • telephone number
  • dietary requirements
  • payment details (via Stripe, online payment system)

For some courses, such as the DofE and Chalet Chef courses, Cambridge Cookery will collect additional information after booking such as

  • Emergency contact details

  • Any relevant medical or health conditions

When you make a booking for corporate events, private parties, culinary trips and other events via email, phone or in person rather than via the website, Cambridge Cookery collects information such as

When you sign up for our newsletter via our website Cambridge Cookery collects information such as:

We use Campaign Monitor to collect and maintain subscriber details for our newsletter. We advise you to check their privacy policy.

We use Stripe as our online payment provider.  When making a payment via our website for any of our products or services, you will be automatically transferred to their site.  We do not store or have access to your payment details.  We encourage you to read their privacy policy.

Our website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins and applications. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements. We encourage you to read the privacy notice of every website you visit.  They may also use third party cookies.

If you would rather we did not keep your information after you have attended the Café, Wine Bar, Bistro, your class, course or event or purchased your product, please email us at [email protected] and your personal information will be removed from our database. 

You have the right to unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by using the link at the bottom of any newsletter you receive.

Any non-identifiable information such as workshop title, date and fees paid, will be retained for statistical purposes.

For the purpose of GDPR, the data controller is Cambridge Cookery.
