The adage “due to popular demand” is often misused but in the case of this class, it is absolutely true! So many of our visitors to the Café and Bistro have asked if we can teach them to cook the way we do here.

We are known for our clean style of contemporary, delicious and unfussy food using seasonal, organic and sustainable ingredients to create modern food which tastes as beautiful as it looks.

Join Executive chef Liz Young for an evening of tips and techniques for creating our celebrated breads, fresh pasta dishes and stunning but doable food for everyday supper as well as for entertaining.

Recipes vary with the seasons and with supplies. During the colder months we include our Scandinavian Rye bread, Crab ravioli, Seared Wild Venison with Wild Mushrooms, Celeriac purée, Roasted Chicken with new potato salad, anchovy vinaigrette and a home made Vanilla ice cream with olive oil and sea salt as well as a Crumble.

The class includes full recipe packs and dinner with wine.

Places are limited on this class and early bookings recommended.

We are found at the very end of Purbeck Road (off Hills Rd by the sixth form centre) where you turn left by Abbey college and then carry straight on for about 60m to the white awnings you will see ahead. There is some parking right by our door during evenings.
