Cambridge Cookery is an independent neighbourhood meeting place, a relaxing hub of seriously good food, coffee, and local and organic produce.
We’re open Wednesday – Sunday 9am-2pm for coffee, pastries, cakes, daily changing counter salads and lunch dishes. Click to see the latest menu here.
A warm welcome
Join us on our gorgeous terrace overlooking the beautiful lawn, or inside in our spacious airy café adjacent to the cookery school. We have disabled access, parking spaces right by our door (this is limited to a few spaces), plenty of high chairs and accessible baby changing facilities. And what’s more, we’re always dog friendly!
Independent, homemade & local
Cambridge Cookery is an entirely independent business. Our small team of passionate, Leiths and Cordon Bleu trained chefs use locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create fresh, delicious dishes. We hand make all of the cakes, brownies and cinnamon buns for which we’ve become known. Everything is freshly made for our customers to enjoy first thing in the morning – along with a cup of our award winning coffee. We work with our suppliers to source fresh, seasonal ingredients. Dog friendly!
Cambridge Cookery is a dedicated, dog-friendly establishment! We love dogs and welcome you to bring along your furry friends to our cafe. We will even greet them with a delicious, home-made doggy biscuit, so they don’t feel left out. Our cafe looks out onto a park and we have plenty of outdoors seating if your four-legged friends prefer the fresh air!
Spacious, inside and out
We are lucky to be situated in a beautiful, newly converted former stonemasons building. Our venue is huge and spacious, offering a safe, yet relaxed and cosy environment. We have the added benefit of a large, covered outdoor terrace equipped with heaters and blankets, overlooking a quiet, green haven. Our venue is 5-star hygiene rated.
The food is amazing and worth every penny! One of the best cafés in Cambridge and the atmosphere is great.Amazing
You'd never find this place by accident - tucked away off a tiny street on the edge of town. So glad we found it though - there's no better place for a lazy breakfast/brunch in Cambridge. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and service, with top class food to boot. I intend to keep coming back until I've tried everything on the menu - it all sounds so good!Hidden gem!
Go for a light lunch with friends and be bold with your choices. The open sandwiches are wonderful. Stretch them out with a great salad , maybe a glass of excellent and reasonably priced prosecco but don't forget to order a delicious and masterfully presented flat white coffee! The classy cafe in Cambridge!
Visited for dinner on Saturday evening. We had delicious food, cocktails and wine served in a relaxed and friendly setting with welcoming staff. Interesting and tasty dishes. Highly recommended.Saturday evening dinner
Tucked away from the crowds but a hidden gem. Visited on Wednesday and had beautiful food and friendly helpful staff all round, we even had the chef bring our food out! Entertainment for the kids a plus as well as the small playground. Definitely head back, would love to try the Saturday night bistro. We need more of this in Cambridge.Happy kids, good coffee/food equals happy parents

Simply the best (apart from us, of course 😉). Coffees are needless to say perfect, the ambience is like my favs back in Stockholm and everything is spotless. But what really places @bouldbrotherscoffee in a category of its own is the people. Front of house greet every new customer with a huge smile and welcome as you would a close friend. Genuine and professional. For someone a bit jaded like me it’s s balm to the soul as well as to the taste buds. Top marks guys 🙏 ... See MoreSee Less
