Cambridge Cookery Bistro & Café is an independent neighbourhood meeting place, a relaxing hub of seriously good food, coffee, wine & cocktails, local and organic from the finest suppliers.

We use only the finest, locally sourced, sustainable ingredients to create lovingly crafted, homemade dishes with a strong Scandinavian and Italian influence.

We are open Tuesday-Sunday for breakfast, brunch and lunch, Friday and Saturday evenings for our wine, cocktail & tapas bar, and Saturday evenings for our bistro.

Evening Bistro and Wine Bar

Our wine bar is open on Friday evenings, serving hand-picked wines and cocktails alongside delicious, handmade tapas dishes. We also run regular wine tastings, emphasising the joy of pairing food and wine. On Saturday evening our bistro serves a delicious, weekly changing, seasonal 3-course menu. Cambridge Cookery is an entirely independent business. Our team of passionate chefs and artisan bakers use the finest, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create fresh, delicious, homemade food throughout the day. Our bread and croissants are proving and baking every day from the early hours, so that they’re ready for customers to enjoy first thing in the morning – along with a cup of our award winning coffee. Dog friendly!

Cambridge Cookery is a dedicated, dog-friendly establishment! We love dogs and welcome you to bring along your furry friends to our cafe. We will even greet them with a delicious, home-made doggy biscuit, so they don’t feel left out. Our cafe looks out onto a park and we have plenty of outdoors seating if your four-legged friends prefer the fresh air!

And served with oven roasted spiced chickpeas, toasted, torn flat breads, shaved fennel which we marinated in lemon and olive oil, organic leaves and our beloved dill!

Dusted with sumac, grated orange zest, olive oil sea salt and baked in foil at 200C for about 45 min! Drain away liquid or place on paper towels. As easy as it is delicious!
