Many teens chose not to eat animal protein, and often rely on parents to do the cooking.
This course has been designed to broaden awareness of nutritional aspects and to encourage Teens to take more control in the kitchen and to feel inspired to cook vegetarian for themselves ahead of leaving home.
We source our ingredients locally when possible and the course will use seasonal fruit and vegetables to create both sweet and savoury dishes.
We cook with a variety of grains and pulses, including Freekeh and lentils and also focus on how to season food.
Parents dropping off or picking up are welcome to realax in our café and Bistro, which offers a glimpse of the action, as well as delicious home made pastries and lunch dishes.
The class will finishes with a communal lunch. Any leftovers will be sent home in doggie bags.
